EAST CAVALRY FIELD

The action at East Cavalry Field on the third day of the battle of Gettysburg helped to earn the newly promoted Brigadier General George Armstrong Custer his reputation as a great Cavalry leader when he lead the Michigan Brigade in its charge on Major General J.
